Data sources

We check your IMEI against a third-party data provider's records. Model identification uses the IMEI's first 8 digits, its Type Allocation Code.

Limitations

Results reflect the provider's records at the time of the check.

Model data licence

Our model table is adapted from the Osmocom TAC database (© Harald Welte 2016), with additional data from the Apple device list on Is this Phone Blocked? We changed the model names to Apple's marketing names. Our table is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
